A memorial service for Richard E. Miller, 55, of Granville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville, with the Rev. Stephen J. Cramer officiating.
Richard, a goldsmith and proprietor of Studio 37 in Granville, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008, at the Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born June 22, 1952 in Hebron to the late Eugene B. and Blanche Carolyn (Sayre) Miller.
Richard was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Granville and the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. His greatest joys in life included vacationing on the beach and actively participating in his children's lives, especially sailing regattas and horseback riding.
Surviving are his son, Austin W. Miller of Granville; daughter, Avery C. Miller of Granville; former wife, Rebecca Miller of Granville; and Uncle and Aunt, Keith and A. Dean Miller of Seymour, IN.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, William Miller.
