A funeral service will be held for R.W. “Bob” Hutchison, 83, of Granville, on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2486 Granville Rd, Newark with Bishop Mark Bergstrom as celebrant.  A masonic service will follow at 6:30 P.M..  The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 5:30 P.M. prior to the service at the church. A private graveside service will be held at Fredonia Cemetery.

Bob passed away on Good Friday, April 19, 2019 at his home. He was born in Glencoe, Ohio to the late Walter E. and Mary E. Hutchison and was a 1953 graduate of New Concord High School. Those towns always remained as special places in Bob’s heart.

A strong willed and self-made man, Bob retired after 50 years as a contractor and proprietor of R.W. Hutchison Building Contractors, but never slowed down.  He remained active in farming, horse pulls, car shows, traveling through Amish country, baling hay and attending Saturday sales with his grandson, Justin.  He was a member and Past Master of Farmers Lodge #153 F.&A.M., District Education Officer, District Deputy Grand Master, and  Past Worthy Patron of the O.E.S., Wroena Chapter 597. Bob was charitable with his time and talents in the community and was also a Past President of McKean Community Organization. He will be remembered for his love of family.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Linda F. “Lynn” Hutchison; children and their spouses, Kathy and Toby Matney, Tina and Randy Rouanzoin, Ed and Lisa Hutchison, Roberta Hutchison, Rebecca and James Keene, Cheyanne Black, and Shane Evans; grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher (Amy), Justin, Brandon, Jaden, Jonah, Addison, Noah, Brittany, Kayla (Brandon), Jacqueline (Shane), Jennifer (Craig), Dustin, and Michael; great grandchildren, Chayna, Kaitlyn, Dakota, Logen, Riley, Taylor, Madison, Chelsie, Braxton, Hannah, Jaxon, Liam, Ciersten, Korei, Makynlei, Malakai, and Jacob.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Robert “Butch” Hutchison; grandson, Jeremy Hutchison; great grandson, Nathen Denune; and siblings, Wilmer, Wallace, Esther, and Evelyn.
