It was a glorious day for Robert when he went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2014 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born April 25, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert L. Lacy, Sr. and Peggy Ann (Dye) Terrano of Florida. He served in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam and was an expert marksman.
A Christian man, strong in his faith, Bob lived by the Bible. He was always helping others and touched the lives of many. His greatest love for his family was only second to the Lord. He will be remembered for his compassion toward animals, enthusiasm for technology and gadgets, and his joy in music, particularly playing his guitar. Bob was a graduate from the Ohio State Barber College and attended Newark COTC in the field of electronics. Surviving, in addition to his mother and step-father, Santo Terrano, Lt. Col., USAF (Ret.), are his children, Samantha Phillips, Jason Farmer, and Angela Willis; grandson, Connor Willis; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and James Hardy; brother, Jeff Bogadi; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to noon prior the graveside service at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., in Granville.
