A memorial service for Robert G. Seith, 55, of Granville, was held at the First Presbyterian Church, 110 W. Broadway, Granville, with the Rev. Karen J. Chakoian officiating. Burial was in Perry Cemetery in Perry.
Mr. Seith, formerly employed as the Advancement Communication Manager at Denison University in Granville, died May 8, 2007, at his residence. He was born Jan. 9, 1952, in Painesville, to the late Jessie (Golding) and George W. Seith.
Bob was a 1974 graduate of Denison University with a BA in English and received his masters in English from the University of Arkansas. He was a friend of the First Presbyterian Church and his interests included photography and music, especially the organ and piano. Bob often played the organ for programs at the various churches in Granville.
Surviving are his brothers. Thomas W. (Donna) Seith of Cincinnati, and William R. (Ethel) Seith of Fort Defiance, VA; sister, Peggy (James) Havel of Perry; 8 nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.
