Robert Leslie Woodruff Iii

A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Leslie Woodruff III, 68, of Shelby, Ohio, will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio, with Father Michael Lumpe as Celebrant.  A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 16th  at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral, 133 S. Prospect Street, Granville.

Robert was born in Montour County, PA on November 14, 1955 to the late Robert Leslie Woodruff, Jr. and Margaret (Davis) Woodruff.  He passed away while vacationing in Santa Fe, New Mexico on March 30, 2024.

Robert was a devoted and much-loved husband, father, and grandfather. He was President and CEO of Woodruff Systems Group, a company he started in 1981, and had recently retired from his work as a Software Architect and Principal Engineer.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Eleanor “Deb” Hunt, whom he married May 21, 1994; children, Suzy (Sean) Plows and Robert Leslie Woodruff IV; granddaughter, Lily Plows; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Woodruff.
