Rosalie Duque

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Rosalie Duque at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at The Church of St. Edward the Confessor, 785 Newark Granville Rd., Granville with Msgr. Paul P. Enke as celebrant. Burial will follow at Welsh Hills Cemetery in Granville.

A true Jersey Girl, Rosalie passed away August 3, 2021 at her home in Pataskala, Ohio at the age of 78. She was born in Newark, NJ to the late Oswald and Irene Duque.

A member of St. Edward’s Church, Rosalie kept busy with the Edwardians and she also enjoyed playing Bingo.

Family was a paramount to Rosalie and she was a tried and true soccer grandma. Her grandchildren were her everything. She will be remembered as a vivacious, selfless, caring, and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Col. Antonio and Liane Cunha, USAR RET; Lisa and Sepehr Rajaie; and Denise and Adolfo Foquim; grandchildren, Kouros, Dante, Ciara, Brianna, and Zachary; great grandson, Oliver; and brother and sister-in-law, Antonio and Marie Duque.
