Sandra T. Hurst

Sandra Tracy Hurst, born on July 11, 1951, in Circleville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home in Granville, Ohio on March 30, 2025, at the age of 73. A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Sandra’s kindness, love, and encouragement touched the lives of all who knew her.

Sandra’s life was marked by her dedication to family and community. She was the cherished wife of Rufus Hurst, and together they built a life filled with love and shared moments. Sandra was a wonderful, loving mother to her children: Tracy (Chase) Cunningham, Alexander (Megan) Hurst, and Nathaniel (Larsen) Hurst. Her daughter Kayla Hurst, predeceased her, leaving a lasting impact on her heart. Sandra was a proud and loving grandmother to her grandchildren: Marshall and Georgia Cunningham, Carter and Carly Hurst, and Colton and Isabell Hurst. Sandra’s family was central to her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

Sandra’s faith was a guiding light in her life finding strength and guidance in her beliefs. Her involvement in her community was notable and she was a proud member of both the local country club and the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. Her participation in those organizations reflected her love for camaraderie and her commitment to being an active part of the community.

A celebration of life will be planned in the future. The family appreciates the love and support of her community, family and friends.
