Sara Marie Frye

Sara Marie Frye, a sweet, beautiful, and good humored young woman, passed away much too soon on April 10, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus at the age of 31. She was born in Westerville, Ohio to Richard and Cynthia Frye. She was a graduate of Westerville Central and attended Sinclair Community College.

Sara Marie treasured hanging out with friends, loved animals, the beach and being around water. She was a free spirit with compassion for everyone. She always saw the good in people and saw life as the glass that was half-full. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and love of family.

In addition to her parents, Rick and Cindy, Sara Marie is survived by her life-partner, Jessica Lyles; sisters, Elizabeth Frye and Annemarie Humphries-Fidler; aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Sara in death are her maternal grandparents, Frank and Sally Hannahs and paternal grandparents, Kathryn and Melvin Frye.

A graveside service will be held at 11:15 A.M. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville with Cindy Riggs as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 A.M. Saturday at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville prior to the graveside service.
