A memorial service for Thomas T. Fuller, 81, of Granville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville with Rev. Stephen J. Cramer officiating. A private graveside will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Tom died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born May 8, 1928 in Columbus to the late Isaac G. and Edith M. (Thomas) Fuller.

Tom moved to Granville in 1969 and soon became the owner and operator of Fuller's Market until retiring and selling the family business in 1985. After graduating from Granville High School in 1946, he then enlisted and proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman during WWII. Tom was a member and Past Master of Center Star Lodge #11 F. & A. M., Granville Merchants Association, and Granville Rotary. He also was a volunteer at the Granville Fire Department. Tom's hobbies included wood carving and flying remote controlled model airplanes. He had a passion for life-long learning and teaching those around him. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Jean A. (Goodman) Fuller of Granville; children and their spouses, Donna and Craig Thompson of Columbus, Scott and Amy Fuller of Ridgecrest, CA, and Carol and Ray Dennison of Gratiot; grandchildren, Benjamin and Emily Thompson, and Zachary and Leanne Fuller; and sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Ken Moore of North Myrtle Beach, SC..

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, John Fuller. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the McPEEK-HOEKSTRA FUNERAL HOME, 133 S. Prospect St. in Granville. A masonic service will be conducted at 6:45 p.m. prior to calling hours.
