William Scott Siegel, 55, of Croton, passed away September 22, 2022 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to Bill and Jackie Siegel of Alexandria.
A graduate of Northridge High School, Scott attended The Ohio State University and was a proud Buckeye all his life. He was sports minded and a talented athlete competing in football and baseball. In his youth he also enjoyed showing steers with his brother, Bob.
Scott was a man of integrity whose word was his bond. He was a person of unending generosity always considering the needs of others above his own. Most important to Scott was his family. He cherished his daughters and his new role in life as grandpa. There are no words to describe our sorrow and unconditional love for him.
In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his life partner, Cathy Priest; daughters, Isabel (Michael) Young and Erica Siegel; precious grandsons, James and Joshua Young; brother, Robert (Amy) Siegel; nieces, Katie (Levi) Criswell and Jenna Siegel; and other extended family.
Scott will be fishing in heaven with his grandpas, John Milner and Robert Siegel. Also, preceding him in death are his grandmothers, Ruth Siegel and Annabel Milner; and beloved uncles, Steve Milner and John Siegel.
The family will receive friends, Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mcpeekhoekstra.com.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
